A Father travelled with his daughter’s dead body.
RBM DESK: In these corona days ambulance services are charging a high amount, for few kilometres they are charging a high amount it seems.The public have come to support the fact that lakhs of rupees are being collected for ambulance service.
Recently an incident happened in Rajasthan, a 34 years old woman died due to Corona in a hospital in kota. She lives in Jhalawar which is 85km from Kota. The woman’s father asked for the ambulance service, the ambulance drivers demanded a high amount to travel from Kota to Jhalawar, they demanded 35000 rupees and said that the government has fixed the rates. The father did not had that much amount at that time. He had no other option, he tied the body to the front seat and took the daughters body to Jhalawar on his own.
The district collector of the Kota, Ujjawal Rathod has told in front of the media that they are investigating about the incident and asked the father to give the details of the ambulance drivers who demanded that huge amount.
