The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) said Canada had made the final decision after Saturday’s deadline. However, in the case of emergency cargo, the aircraft carrying the relevant cargo, vaccines and personal protective equipment will be handled as usual. The transport minister said the decision was taken in the interest of aviation safety and public safety.
